District 66 is proud to announce the return of Parent University!  Parent University will be on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 9:00 am - 10:30 am (in person) at Prairieview School.

Detective Richard Wistocki (Ret.), nationally recognized High Technology Cyber Crimes Specialist, will be presenting proactive strategies, expert insight, and invaluable resources designed to empower parents to combat cyberbullying and sexting.

Parent University is for Parents Only.  Topics will include (but are not limited to):

  • Understanding cyber-crime and that “no one online is anonymous”

  • Understanding the dangers of many popular apps

  • Understanding social media laws

  • How to protect your “digital footprint”

For planning purposes, please RSVP by completing this form if you plan to attend Parent University. (Parents are still welcome to attend if they did not RSVP.)

Det. Wistocki (Ret.) will return in April to meet with our 5th through 8th grade students and provide them with a student version of cyber safety.

Mark your calendars now! You don’t want to miss this Parent University opportunity.  Det. Wistocki (Ret.), presented to our District 66 families prior to the pandemic and was well received.
