National School Bus Safety Week: Driving Safely into the Future
Get ready to celebrate National School Bus Safety Week from October 21 to 25! This week is all about ensuring our students are well-informed and safe while riding the school bus. Throughout the week, students will receive important reminders about bus safety rules, including essential tips for approaching the bus and the proper procedures for getting on and off safely.
As part of our celebration, District 66 is excited to dedicate Friday, October 25, as School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! This day is a heartfelt tribute to our incredible drivers who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of our students every day.
In recognition of their hard work and commitment, TEAM66 will be providing several treats throughout the week to express gratitude to our amazing transportation team. Let’s all come together to appreciate the vital role they play in our school community!
