Bucket Filler FRI-YAY!!! Team Beseth had so much fun coloring their puzzle piece and then trying to put it together! #spreadkindness #bucketfillers #teambesethrocks #firstgrade 🪣 🦁

Kindergarten read the story of Beautiful Oops! Students then took Ms. Smeltzer’s many oops papers, (paint smudged paper), and turned them into something beautiful this week! Kindergarten knows…”If you make a mistake…Work With It!”

IDE’s - taste testing our tomatoes, then making a donation to the West Suburban Community Pantry.

It was “Bucket Filling” Friday at Elizabeth Ide! Kindness is free and we sprinkled it everywhere!! 🎉#idepride #teamhull @Idefirstgrade1

Team Beseth earned their 10th class paw this week and we celebrated with popsicles! We have a class mission statement that we read every day which drives our classroom culture and reminds us of our classroom values, goals, and norms! 🐾 #firstgraderocks #hearusroar 🦁

First grade has been working hard in math and practicing their subitizing skills! #teambeseth #welovemath 🧮

We love all the fun items our families have donated for recess! Today our little lions enjoyed the bubble machine!

Our first grade learners have been hard at work practicing their reading 📚and writing ✍️ centers. #teamhull #firstgraderocks #idepride🦁

As we turn corner into September, Ide students celebrated our school launch with a silly snack & music in the lion field!

We had fun this week learning how to choose books and read with a buddy! We’re building up our stamina during reading centers!

Our Kindergarteners are practicing shape recognition, patterning, sorting, collaboration, and fine motor skills in math centers!

Purposeful play is a great opportunity for our Kindergarteners to
collaborate, problem solve, imagine, and create!

We had so much fun at our first recess dance party! #IdePride #ThrowKindnessLikeConfetti

We welcome any new or gently used recess donations! You can drop this off at Ide or send into school with your child!
