Our class had some pretty fun costume ideas for Ms. Lesniak during Writer’s Workshop today! 🎃

We had fun this week using bikes to help us learn doubles facts and practice counting by 2s! We used that skill when we counted pumpkin seeds by 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s! 🚲 🎃

We had fun this week learning some new recess games like duck, duck, goose! We practiced patience, being a good sport, and cheering our teammates on! 🥳

Team Hull enjoyed reading together for “Flashlight Friday!” 🔦📖

We are mathematicians in Kindergarten! Math centers are a great way for us to build a strong number sense and practice new skills that we are learning in our math lessons each week, like building shapes, writing numbers, and counting by 1s, 5s, and 10s! 🧮

Our Kindergartners are making discoveries, building math and literacy knowledge, and learning to collaborate and problem solve during purposeful play each week! ❤️

Our Kindergarteners are practicing being social detectives and following the group plan! Every week Mrs. Pesevento joins each of our Kindergarten classrooms to read us a story from the Social Thinking Series! These lessons help us to become even better friends and partners at school! ❤️

Our Kindergarteners are “smartie spellers”! We’re having fun using our October vocabulary words, highlighting sight words, and building stamina for writing independent during Writer’s Workshop! ✏️

It is Principal Appreciation Week! Center Cass 66 would like to recognize our outstanding building principals for all they do for our students, staff, and community! #ThankAPrincipal #GreatSchoolsHaveGreatPrincipals #ccsd66
