Team Staiton had a blast celebrating their 10 class paws with a pajama and stuffy party this week! I love seeing the teamwork and encouragement in our class when we earn our class paws! 🐾

Elizabeth Ide 2nd graders won a virtual meeting with engaging author Peter Brown thanks to a submission by Janet Oliver! She submitted their AMIRA practice and as a celebration, her class was chosen to participate. She reached out to AMIRA reps in order to extend the opportunity to all Ide 2nd grade classes. He discussed the process of writing and illustrating children's books (specifically his first novel THE WILD ROBOT). Way to go 2nd graders!
