Our Kindergartners had fun diving into our first STEM activity with our STEM coach, Mrs. Sanchez! She read the book Dreaming Up, which gave us inspiration as we explored different building materials! 🧱

Elizabeth Ide 2nd graders won a virtual meeting with engaging author Peter Brown thanks to a submission by Janet Oliver! She submitted their AMIRA practice and as a celebration, her class was chosen to participate. She reached out to AMIRA reps in order to extend the opportunity to all Ide 2nd grade classes. He discussed the process of writing and illustrating children's books (specifically his first novel THE WILD ROBOT). Way to go 2nd graders!
