We had an awesome week learning all about sunflowers! Today we made a sunflower diagram and labeled the important parts of a sunflower. Students will take home their sunflower plants to watch them grow!! 🌻🌻

T is for tie dye!!! Our Kindergarteners had fun tie dying their t shirts today! We can’t wait to wear them on field day next week! 🌈
We read Giraffes Can’t Dance this week and focused on “the power of YET” and having a growth mindset! We had fun painting our own directed drawing of Gerald the Giraffe! 🦒
First graders made paper gliders and measured how far they flew using connecting cubes! We compared distances and determined the distance between gliders.

First graders made gliders today in math. Our learning target was “I can collect data.” Team Beseth took their gliders outside and made a tally chart to see which glider went farthest. They used their shoe as a nonstandard measurement tool! So fun! #teambesethrocks #math #gliders
Team Beseth loved having Mrs. Sopha come in once a week to review problem solving ideas and practicing the “size” of a problem. They have done an amazing job working together! #sel #teambeseth #idepride #socialemotionallearning 👍🏻
