Math centers are an awesome chance for first graders to practice and apply all the skills they’ve learned! Students use different tools to help them solve addition and subtraction problems.
Students love sharing all about their weekends during our weekend writing. Students shared their writing with each other and they could ask questions about what each other wrote.
This week first grade students are learning all about horses! Today they did some research on important horse words and their meanings. 🐴
L Day- writing letters to our Moms! Students were so creative and took time writing poems and letters telling their moms why they love them. We also had to throw in some “lollipops” to celebrate 14 days left of school! #letterday #lollipopday #1stgrade #happymothersday

One of our favorite math games is “guess my number”! We’re strengthening our number sense and math vocabulary with greater than and less than clues! 🧐
