Today was “Favorite Book” day. First graders had fun by flashlight 🔦 reading their favorite books. #❤️reading #firstgraderocks

Our 1st graders love math games and today we played “Guess my Number.” You could overhear students using strategic mathematical terms to their partner such as “is it even or odd” or “is it greater or less than?” to figure out the digit. 👍🏻 #firstgraderocks #idepride🦁

For letter F- Favorite Book Day, students chose an activity to do with their favorite book during daily five centers.

First Graders practiced some SEL strategies with Mrs. Sopha. They played a game called Stop, Think, and Make a Good Choice.

Congratulations to this reading rockstar for leveling up on Raz-Kids today!

F Day at school = Favorite Books, Flashlights, and Fuzzy Friends! In First Grade, that spells FUN!

Our Kindergarteners are having fun exploring number patterns! We used frog eyes to practice counting by two’s and creating doubles facts! 🐸

1st graders played “guess my number” today in math to practice greater than/less than on a 120 chart!

First graders continue to work on their number sense skills. Today they played guess my number with a partner! Students took turns asking questions using greater than or less than to determine what their partners number was.

April is poetry month and Friday is “A Poem in Your Pocket” day. Second graders have been practicing their own “poem in your pocket” to recite to a family member on Friday!

We earned a class reward for getting our morning routine started right away.

Second graders did exercise spelling to celebrate exercise day during our ABC countdown.

Have you filled someone's bucket today? These 2nd Graders write bucket filling notes (positive compliments) to their peers and the teacher reads every one of them each Wednesday!
