We celebrated “Beach Day” for the ABC Countdown today. Students used their beach towels during daily five centers.


First graders wrote what they have learned about frogs in their informational writing journals.


Mathematicians & Robots? These 2nd Grade mathematicians are demonstrating their understanding of area with their self-designed robots. That's roaring!

2nd Graders are "Stepping Up" by writing questions to 3rd Graders about what next year will look like when the transition as a "Prairieview Panther." Next Friday, 3rd Grade Ambassadors will be visiting with the 2nd Graders to answer their questions. Yeah!

Ide began the ABC countdown. We started with A- Artist day. It just happened to land on Earth Day so Team Beseth did a directed drawing of an Earth and discussed different ways we can protect our planet! 🌍 #recycle #uselesswater #plantatree





Our Word Study continues! Throughout the school year the 1st graders have practiced doing many different sorts with words that have short & long vowels, digraphs, & blends. They’ve used their iPads to share what they’ve learned about these sorts with their teachers and families.




The 1st graders have loved using their individual Wilson Boards this school year. The kids tap out words using their fingers, spell the words, & then “spell the words away”!
