The Principal Student Leadership Team had their first official meeting on Monday 😀. Topics included what it means to be a leader, what do we love about our school, and what are some areas for growth. The PSLT started to share ideas for how we can make things even better than they already are at IDE!
We can't wait to see these ideas come to life and make a difference for all Elizabeth Ide Lions!🦁
Thank you to all of our amazing parents who put together a fun Halloween party for our kindergarteners! We had a blast! 🎃

Purposeful play is one of our favorite parts of our week! This is a great opportunity to take the skills that we learn in our SEL curriculum and apply them in real world situations, all while having fun! We practice problem solving, taking turns, sharing, and working as a team!
Our kindergarteners are doing a great job building their stamina for working independently in small groups during reading centers! We practice building and identify sight words, letter sound activities, writing, and our new reading program, Amira!
Our Kindergartners had such an exciting week exploring pumpkins! We counted the lines and seeds, measured and compared pumpkins, did a sink or float experiment, and ended the week with a pumpkin volcano with Mrs. Sanchez! Thank you to all of the families who donated pumpkins! 🎃
Team Staiton had a blast celebrating their 10 class paws with a pajama and stuffy party this week! I love seeing the teamwork and encouragement in our class when we earn our class paws! 🐾
